Reflective Post Gamification in Education

Pros for using Educational Games for Language Revitalization, keeps things fun and interactive. Hands on and for games there is a lot of repetition. If you play the games daily the children get good at words in language this includes saying the words as well as recognizing letters and sounds. Cons for using Educational Games for Language Revitalization include heavy competition which does happen in our classroom made up of 70% boys. They do want to win when playing games.

I believe games are a good tool even though there could be potential competition, because of the reputation used in games. An example would be go-fish. Using language such as your turn, do you have? This could include numbers in language and or animals (which is what we use).

Pros and Cons for using Google Earth Narrative Maps or 360 VR Tours for Language Revitalization, for me this is new. I can see a lot of pros using these type of tools. I think I can see a lot of language for specific things, ie. beach, water, sand, trails etc. For cons using this maybe as a person who has not used it might be just unsure how to use it for me that would definitely be a con. I would like to learn and use this for language revitalization learning.
